Made from ancient Kauri root timber, approximately 12,000 years old, this piece combines gold leaf, dragon scale glaze and copper leaf finish. I’ve used an epoxy finish, which was then cut back for a final oiling. This would make a beautiful table top piece, and is mounted on a bearing to allow it to rotate.
